Experiencing in ones body the power in rhythms of the natural world can align us deeply with the life force itself. Beginning with our own heartbeat, synching up with those of the horses and with the pulsing earth creates a resonant vibration. Many spiritual traditions from indigenous shamanism to forms of tantric buddhism practice in this way.
Guided meditations, drumming, and the presence of the horses support us sinking into and opening up to a more expansive dimension, both inside ourselves and in the external world. Our time together also includes:
periods of quiet reflection with the herd,
interactive experiences with the horses, both individual and group
being in the garden medicine wheel
sharing responses and insights that illuminate new possibilities and integrate wisdom received from the horses.
Join us and see how horses can help humans live in a more wholesome compassionate and powerful way. No horse experience is necessary; horse people very welcome too!

Facilitators
MICHELLE ATTERBY is founder and director of Spirit Gate Farms in Victoria. Her background includes acupuncture, energy medicine, shamanic healing as well as Equine Experiential Learning, equine psychology and natural horsemanship. Together these form a supportive and innovative context for healing and spiritual awakening.
ORIANE LEE JOHNSTON brings a foundation in natural horsemanship and Equine Guided Learning together with the practice of Spiritual Guidance and her experience as former program director for Hollyhock Retreat Centre. She currently mentors emerging leaders, consults in program design and leads programs in life purpose & the future.
